This kid… he’s a fighter. Y’all might get tired of me saying that, but it’s so true. His immune deficiency is an everyday battle for him. It’s a physical and mental struggle to be sick, miss school, miss practice, miss out, be excluded, be depressed, be out of shape, have to sit out of all the things you love for a whole year, do infusions every week, have to be more careful, etc. Kaden is fighting though. Has it taken a toll on his grades? Absolutely. Has it affected his friendships? Unfortunately, yes. Has it hurt him athletically? Definitely. But, he’s here. He’s playing high school baseball. He’s putting in work. And he had a great first JV game! So proud of my Buffalo! Thanks to all the people rallying around Kaden, pushing him, encouraging him, and checking on him. We love you!
